Terms of Service

1. Who this agreement is with

These Terms are between you ("you" or "user") and subsmap ("we," "us," or "our"). If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you confirm you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. What subsmap does

subsmap gathers and analyzes publicly available Reddit content, drawing on Reddit's own API as well as other third-party data sources, to give you analytics on subreddits, including top posts, top comments, active posters and commenters, best times to post, and keyword and topic trends. subsmap is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Inc. Reddit and related marks belong to Reddit, Inc.

3. Age requirements and NSFW content

You may use subsmap only if you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your local jurisdiction if higher, and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. subsmap includes a toggle to view analytics from NSFW subreddits. By enabling this toggle, you confirm you meet the age and legal requirements in your jurisdiction to view adult content, and you agree that you're doing so at your own discretion and risk.

4. Your account

If the Service requires an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away at hello@supermeta.agency if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use subsmap to:

• Break the law, or violate Reddit's own User Agreement, Content Policy, or API Terms;
• Harass, threaten, or target individuals or communities;
• Attempt to identify or de-anonymize private individuals from aggregated data;
• Interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• Resell, scrape, or redistribute subsmap's data or outputs in bulk without our written permission;
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates this section.

6. Content and data sources

Reddit content shown or analyzed within subsmap remains the property of its original authors and Reddit, Inc. We surface and summarize this content for informational purposes; we don't claim ownership over it. Because subsmap relies on Reddit's platform and third-party data providers, availability, accuracy, and completeness of the data can change without notice, including if Reddit or a data provider changes their access terms.

7. Intellectual property

Aside from third-party Reddit content, subsmap and its underlying software, design, branding, and analysis methodology belong to us. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission. Any feedback you send us about the Service can be used by us freely, without obligation to you.

8. No guarantee of results

subsmap provides subreddit analytics to help inform your content and posting strategy. We don't guarantee any specific outcome, such as increased engagement, reach, or growth. Use of the Service is at your own discretion.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep subsmap reliably available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time, including where Reddit or a third-party data source changes what's available to us.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, subsmap and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

12. Termination

You may stop using subsmap at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or with reasonable notice for any other reason.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by generally applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law gives you additional rights that cannot be waived.
